Happy birthday Jay Dee (yes, it is still Dilla's bday here on the west coast.)!!!
I was planning to do a Dilla tribute beat to be ready for today, but time and school are killin' me right now guys. In this post I'd just like to wish a happy birthday to THE GREATEST (IMO) HIP-HOP PRODUCER to ever walk the face of the earth.
Although I never knew him personally, I miss Dilla's music more and more each day. Dilla is a HUGE influence on how I make music today. His passion and humble attitude, I believe, conquers all who are in this hip-hop game.
Today, a documentary that I have been EAGERLY (That's putting it lightly) waiting for has finally been released. "J Dilla: Still Shining" is a beautiful doc to J Dilla fans or just plain hip-hop fans. For the first time I finally got to get a rare look on the inside of his studio and his life that has never been seen before. This is not promotional, I'm just really excited about this is all lol. Everything that is said in this doc is how I've felt about his music. The emotion, the swing, the bass, the drums...just everything. Hope you enjoy it.
And now I present to you, "J Dilla: Still Shining":
DILLA DAWG
R.I.P. Jay Dee
(I'll prob post some of Dilla's more unknown tracks and instrumentals later on)

Hey, I'm actually hosting a Dilla tribute contest, voting started today. Go to http://eternalxiii.newgrounds.com/new s/post/565033 if you'd like to check out peoples submissions and vote. xD
Also, as a bonus, Nujabes was born on the same day as Dilla, Feb. 7, 1974. xD I think that's freaking awesome.
